Brass Pex fittings is made of forged brass or machined from brass bar, designed to connect Pex pipes and other pipeline applications.Peifeng is a professional China brass fittings manufacturer and supplier.
The compression pipe fitting is a small diameter pipe connection that takes into account both sealing and customer safety. A good double tube fitting,Withstands pressures up to a pipe burst without leaking. Can be used in vacuum and high pressure liquid systems. It can work at low temperature to ensure sealing. Durable seal at the maximum rated temperature of the tube. Can be disassembled repeatedly and guaranteed to be sealed. These properties of compression fittings make them widely used in instrumentation, petrochemical, electric power, gas and other industries.
Installation steps of brass compression fittings:
Before installation, make sure that the surface of the connecting end of the TUBE pipe has no defects (no depressions, protrusions or scratches, etc., otherwise it will be difficult to seal), the end face is cut at 90°, and the inner and outer burrs of the pipe are removed.
New Brass Compression Fitting Installation Steps:
(1) Fully insert the TUBE tube into the fitting body and against the shoulder; tighten the nut with your fingers.
(2) Mark a line at the 6 o'clock position of the nut and the body.
(3) Firmly fix the joint body, tighten the nut by 1-1/4 turns and stop at the 9 o'clock position.
[Note: For 1/16", 1/8", 3/16" (or 2, 3, 4mm) brass compression fittings, only need to rotate 3/4 turn to stop at the 3 o'clock position].
